Maiala Park Lodge is currently planning, preparing and applying for a food licence so that next time you come to stay you have the opportunity to dine in.
The offering will remind you of those wonderful homecooked dinners with your grandma, but with a modern and Australian twist by incorporating and highlighting bush foods as well as native herbs and spices.

In the meantime, work with us to partner with local caterers that can tailor meals especially for your event (or there is always the option to BYO).
When you are staying in such a beautiful location, why not head out and enjoy it! Many of the national park day use areas around the Lodge have BBQs and picnic tables. Why don’t you bring your own picnic food and borrow our picnic and bbq equipment to take with you to enjoy at the Maiala Day Use Area in the National Park or the Camp Mountain Outlook, looking over Brisbane CBD? Just reach out once you get to the lodge and we can provide you with whatever you need.

Guests are also welcome to come prepared and cook at the lodge. The closest convenience store is in Samford at Drakes. Don’t forget to pick up your supplies on the way through.
