The Ocellated Velvet Gecko (Oedura monilis) is a native Queensland species, and we love having them around Maiala Park Lodge.
Completely harmless and utterly beautiful, they emerge after dark to hunt insects — making them some of the best (and best-dressed) guests we have.

Maiala Park Lodge is looking for a Guest Services Housekeeper to join our team at Mt Glorious in the Brisbane hinterland.
🌿 Casual | Fixed term to end of October (with genuine opportunity to continue)
📅 Mondays & Fridays | 4–6 hrs per shift
💛 $32.50–$36.50/hr based on experience
You'll be the person who makes our suites feel like a sanctuary — caring for the details that make all the difference for our guests. We're a small, First Nations owned team and we work hard to be a place where people love to show up.
As a proudly First Nations owned venue, we warmly encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to apply.
